THE SCARIEST MONSTERS ARE HUMAN
PODCAST
ABOUT
Welcome to The Scariest Monsters Are Human Podcast.
Episodes are dedicated to the most horrific serial killers in history to date.
I'm hoping to get people to look at these serial killers a little differently and understand that they are everywhere, we don't know what they look like, and,.. Yes, it can happen to you.
Serial killers are people we interact with every day, to think this only happens to other people not only makes you naive, but also easy prey. A victim waiting to be taken.
I used to think that way until a serial killer invaded our gay safe space at Church and Wellesley in Toronto. he murdered and dismembered 2 men that I cared about. I also met the monster once at a friends birthday party, it was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I have endured.

Our Story
I've had a curious fascination with serial killers since I first heard the name John Wayne Gacy. I want to know why they do what they do. I can't imagine what it would take for someone to be able to kill other people, especially in the horrific ways that they do. how does someone become so sadistic? Or, are they born that way and something triggers the killer inside somewhere along their lifetime.
I feel like people need to wake up a little more to the ugly in the world we live in. Whenever a serial killer strikes, people have never seen it coming. ' They were too nice, they couldn't possibly have done anything like that.' and my favorite, " He didn't look like a serial killer.' everyone insists that they would know a serial killer to see one. If that's the case why has no one ever spotted one yet? how do they get away with so much carnage if they are so easy to pick out? We refuse to give acknowledgement to anything that makes us uncomfortable or is 'socially unacceptable' because it makes life nicer. Ignorance may be bliss but its also making us easy targets.
society gives absolute trust to easily and for very little reason. for example, doctors, coaches, police officers, priests, the church, family members and friends are the ones that are committing these gruesome murders but they are trusted blindly simply because of the position they have. Some of the highest respected positions in society are some that the worlds most horrific killers have held, so why don't we watch them as closely as we do with the stranger walking down the street?
I'm not saying we should never trust anyone, but blind trust, shouldn't that be earned. don't you want to know 100 % that you are leaving your kids with someone that isn't going to harm them? That you are getting into an Uber that is going to take you home and not to a quiet spot and gut you like a fish before raping your corpse. Yes that may seem graphic but its true, these things have happened to people to trusting in their environment and not paying attention to what is going on around them because, "It could never happen to me."
My belief about Serial Killers is that they are born a killer, and somewhere along the line the killer is triggered by some life event, and that determines M.O.. I believe some folks are born with damage to the frontal lobe which removes empathy, people just become plaything for their amusement and rage. and Killers put everything into their public persona, and hiding their inner monster. They don't want to get caught and the more they blend in, the harder they are to suspect them of committing horrific crimes.
I really want to inspire people to be more aware of the darkness that exists whether we want to accept it or not. i hope to give you a straight forward episode , with all the gory details and ask some good questions to give the viewers more to think about.
